In 2004, he started the hotel with just a few rooms, mainly catering to Moroccan visitors seeking the healing benefits of Merzouga’s famous sand baths.
Over time, Merzouga became a popular destination for international travelers, and Auberge Les Roches grew to welcome guests from all over the world.
